Capital Learning Collective LLC maintains an active general liability insurance policy — also called commercial general liability (CGL) — underwritten by Hiscox Insurance Company Inc., one of the country’s leading small-business insurers.

Written on an occurrence basis, the policy responds to third-party claims of bodily injury, property damage, and personal and advertising injury that could arise from our operations — giving families an added layer of assurance beyond our screening and session standards.

General liability is distinct from professional liability (errors & omissions): it addresses physical, third-party risks rather than educational outcomes.

Coverage is current and renewed annually. Effective dates and the full policy schedule are available on the certificate of insurance (see below).

Many schools, parent groups, and building managers ask for a Certificate of Insurance (COI) before we begin in-person work on a property. We're happy to provide one — including having your school or venue listed as an additional insured where required.

Email info@capitallearningcollective.com with the venue name, address, and any additional-insured language required. We'll send the certificate directly, usually the same business day.

Carrying commercial insurance is a baseline of professionalism — not something every private tutor invests in. We believe it should be the standard.
